Introducing Executive Chef Kevin Scott

West Park Gardens is pleased to introduce Executive Chef Kevin Scott. Chef Scott is now available to prepare exclusive dining services for up to six West Park Gardens guests.

Chef Scott received his culinary training from L’Academie de Cuisine, a French culinary school in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He has served in the Georgetown Club under Chef Pascal Dionot, The Watergate Hotel, under Jean-Louis Palladin, 2941, under Jonathon Krinn and the Old Ebbitt Grill, under Chef Robert McGowan. Chef Scott also studied the art of Asian Cuisine in London, cooked for the Washington Redskins and for artists at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts in Vienna, Virginia.

Originally from Lawrence, Kansas, Chef Scott learned how to cook by helping his Grandma make delicious meals for the family and enjoying summertime family cookouts, which served as a major source of inspiration for his cooking talents. Chef Kevin soared to the level of Executive Chef and continues to inspire loyalty and share his vast knowledge, while demanding excellence in the kitchen.Chef Kevin is committed to fresh and local foods. He believes the most flavorful cuisine is made, simply, with the best local quality products and he considers it part of his job to inspire and educate guests about the bounty that surrounds us in the Central Virginia Piedmont Valley. It is here that Chef Kevin and his family have chosen to reside.
